Dress-Up

Women have this strange compulsion to dress up. If you can remember the high school prom, or for that matter, any event that required people to dress up, this is always the scenario:

Girls
Girl A: *girlish scream* Whatever are you going to wear?
Girl B: *another girlish scream* I don't know yet, but I'm absolutely excited about it!

Guys
Guy A: Do we have to wear long-sleeves?
Guy B: I think.
Guy A: Fuck..

later...

Girls
Girl A: *girlish scream* Oh my God!! Your mom bought you that dress? It's so lovely!
Girl B: You think so too? We are so gonna sparkle at the party?

Guys
Guy B: Are you going to wear long-sleeves?
Guy A: Maybe.
Guy B: Fuck..

When it comes to formal occasions, the word "dress-up" has two meanings:

Guy Dress-Up
When us guys have to go to a formal dinner, it is necessary for us to cover all our body parts except our head and hands. (though, no one is stopping anyone to wear gloves and a face-protector)
Example:
Underwear: boxers/briefs, undershirt, socks
Top: long-sleeved polo, probably a vest over, and then a coat over that
Bottom: Pants

Girl Dress-Up
Girls on the other hand, are more economical, they use less cloth.
Example:
Underwear: optional
Top: choice of back-less, plunging, sleeve-less, tube, etc. etc.
Bottom: the shorter the better

Now, don't get me wrong. I enjoy looking at such outfits. Trend Micro Christmas party tonight! Prepare to see us like:
